Shift Logistics (from now on called “Shift Logistics”) offers end-to-end supply chain solutions from storage and order fulfillment to shipping. Shift Logistics’ vast network of warehouses allows you to store your products close to your customers, enabling you to deliver orders faster and cheaper. Our Fulfillment service helps online and retail sellers in order processing by integrating their sales channels into our in-house warehouse management system. Shift Logistics helps our clients from storing inventory, picking, packing, and shipping to their customers. Shift Logistics provides same-day, 2-day, and inter-state delivery services for discounted prices with a combination of its fleet of vehicles and partner carriers.
Shift Logistics will overcome all the client’s operational challenges in a single go and give the client more space to think about his sales and marketing activities and business expansion. Shift Logistics is a complete technology-enabled platform. Shift Logistics collects data from clients when they register with us and entrust with us the personal details of their customers, including phone numbers, addresses, and pin codes.
Shift Logistics generally deals only with e-commerce entities from India and other countries. However, their clients include many multinational corporations that have operations in many countries. As a result, Shift Logistics has continuous transactions from these corporations as long as they remain our clients.
The terms and conditions of use policy apply mainly to services provided to clients by Shift Logistics’ through their website www.shift.in, and to its associated, sub associates (collectively, our “Service”) alongside their application. By accessing or using Shift Logistics service, you signify that you have read, understood, and agree to our terms and conditions of use, including collection, storage, and use of Shift Logistics services described in this Terms and Conditions of Service.
THESE WAREHOUSING AND LOGISTICS TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE (“Service Terms“), along with the Contract for Warehousing and Logistics Services (the “Services Contract“), contain the terms and conditions under which Shift Logistics, directly and/or through its affiliates (together with SHIFT LOGISTICS, collectively, “Provider“),will provide certain warehousing and logistics services identified in the Services Contract (the “Services“) to Customer (as defined below). SHIFT LOGISTICS reserves the right to modify, amend, supplement or change these Service Terms at any time without prior notice. The most current and the controlling version of these Service Terms is published electronically at www.shift.in. By tendering Goods (as defined below) for Services, Customer agrees to the Service Terms in effect at the time of such Services.
Definitions
The following capitalized terms have the following meanings:
“Charges” means all amounts of any nature at any time due or claimed to be due to Provider with respect to the Goods, whether liquidated or unliquidated, including loans, disbursements, expenses, advances, storage, handling and transportation charges (including demurrage, detention, and terminal costs), charges and costs incurred in the preservation and sale of the goods according to law, charges incurred for Services as provided herein, interest charges and all other charges and expenses of every nature, present and future, incurred by or for the account of Customer or concerning any Goods.
“Customer” means the person or individual, firm, corporation, or other entity for whom the Goods are stored, and that has entered into the Services Contract as a party thereto.
“Goods” means Customer’s goods, packages, or property for which the Services are provided.
“Lot” or “Lots” means a unit or units of Goods for which Provider keeps a separate account.
Service Providers
Each of the various Services available to Customer pursuant to the Services Contract and these Service Terms may be provided by SHIFT LOGISTICS or one or more of its affiliates; however, such affiliates shall have no obligation to Customer under the Services Contract or these Service Terms and is not liable for the acts or omissions of SHIFT LOGISTICS.
